The chicken parm sub at Scafidi Bros is unreal. Easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Perfect crispy chicken, the sauce is fire, and the whole thing just hits different. If you haven’t tried it yet you’re missing out.

Went to Scafidis for the first time today and it was great. Ted the owner greeted and helped us, guiding us through the menu. We got one Meatball Sandwich ("The Carlo") and one Italian Sub ("The Anthony"). The ingredients were fresh and delicious, especially the bread. The service and quality were impeccable and one sub fed both my wife and me. I can't wait to go back. It's great having such a good place right down the street. The only drawback is that there are no tables there.

This is the best deli in Newton. Always fresh, always delicious. Great prepared foods, salads, etc. Good selections of Italian specialties. Meatballs are homemade and exceptional!

Great first experience at this new local deli! I got "The Phillip" (since I'm a big fan of broccoli rabe on a sandwich) and it was great! Excellent bread which is very important. As a market, Scafidi Bros has some nice offerings including meals to go as well as things like pasta and olive oil (the Monini brand I tried is really working for me) and fancy Italian sodas (the blood orange one is really good).

I decided to host my wife's 50th birthday party at home this year and needed a caterer that had traditional Italian dishes and sandwiches. Scafidi Bros. did not disappoint. We had about 50 people over and the food was a big hit. The owner Teddy showed up right on time, helped set up the trays, and gave detailed instructions on how to keep the dishes hot and serve them throughout the night. He even loaned us a big wicker basket to serve the bread when I realized we didn't have anything to put it in. They couldn't be nicer and more professional. I would highly recommend Scafidi Bros. for your catering needs. I've also grabbed sandwiches from the shop a couple times and love every one I've tried.
